First Order Checklist for Economical Interior-Door Profiles and Matching Hardware
Approve the section drawing, matched sample and complete supply list before a first batch order. Keep the range clearly defined so local fabricators can identify, assemble and replenish it.
Decide what is being purchased
A profile order, a cut-to-size pack and a complete door are different supplies. State whether cutting, machining, connectors, locks, hinges, gaskets, glass or panels are included. Identify each item by model and quantity. Replacement parts should use the same references as the approved assembly.
Match the sample to its records
Check the section and mating parts against the drawing revision. Record the agreed wall thickness and tolerances, alloy and temper, surface finish, colour sample, supply length and weight per metre. Photos should show the model label with the section or instrument reading. A general workshop photo does not identify a measured model.
Fix MOQ, packing and production conditions
Write MOQ with its unit and rules for each model, colour and finish. Confirm sample terms and any tooling or custom-colour charges. Record protection materials, pieces per bundle, package dimensions, net and gross weights and labels. Production lead time should state the order quantity and the approvals or deposit that start it. Shipping and customs time are separate.
FAQ
Q: Can profiles from different suppliers be mixed in one door?
A: Use the assembly drawing and a physical fit check to confirm compatibility. Similar outside dimensions or colours are not enough to identify a matched system.
Q: What should a repeat order reference?
A: The approved model, drawing revision, colour sample, hardware list, packing specification and inspection conditions. Keep the sample and approval records for the next batch.
